About
I am a Licensed Psychologist with over four decades of experience providing mental health services to northeastern Minnesota’s Iron Range. My office was in Virginia, but I served clients from all over St. Louis County and the surrounding areas. I have pursued training and experience in many different types of psychotherapy methods because I believe that the more approaches I have to a problem, the better I can individualize a treatment program that will work. As a result, I am certified in several different modalities and am an approved consultant for such treatment methods as EMDR, clinical hypnosis, and “energy therapy.” I have extensive experience providing psychotherapy and counseling to people struggling with addictions and trauma and to those dealing with acute and chronic pain, as well as decades of experience using both traditional and nontraditional or holistic approaches to treat such problems as anxiety, depression, and shame.
Please explore the rest of this website to learn more about me, my credentials, my training, and my practice.
